an ADHD music generator — a quick tour
The basics
- Drag the orb to play notes — left/right shifts the chord, up/down changes octave and filter brightness
- Tap the orb to mute or unmute it
- + button adds a satellite orb (up to 8)
- − button removes the most recent satellite
Tap an orb to open its panel
Voice (timbre):
- p pad — warm sustain
- l pluck — kalimba
- b bell — glassy ring
- m marimba — woody
- s saw — bright lead
- v voice — your recording (long-press to record / re-record)
Speed dots:
- Smallest dot = slowest (4n quarter notes)
- Largest dot = fastest (32n)
Brightness slider:
- Per-orb volume — drag low for ambient, high for lead
Key & mode
- Tap KEY ▾ in the bottom row to cycle through 12 chromatic keys
- Switch between major / minor / pentatonic at the bottom
- Every orb stays locked to your chosen key — no wrong notes
Pair orbs together
- Drag a satellite onto the main orb — they snap into a binary star
- Pairs share the same chord but layer different timbres (e.g. pad + bell = ambient cathedral)
- Move the main orb and the pair travels together
- Yank apart hard to detach
Record
- ● button records the current performance
- Tap ● again to stop and download as .webm — plays in any browser or audio app
Keyboard shortcuts (desktop)
- Space — play / pause
- R — record / stop
- + / − — add / remove orb
